Quick answer

Equipment combines base stats, echo lines, upgrade slots, and item categories such as headgear, accessories, capes, and auras.

Equipment is the backbone of Soul's Remnant item progression. Steam confirms hundreds of armor pieces, headgear, accessories, capes, and auras in the Early Access build, while the community wiki separates equipment attributes into base stats and echo lines.

This page organizes equipment as a database category. It does not assign best-in-slot rankings because echo rolls, item level, upgrade slots, and patch balance can change the value of a piece.

Echo And Slot Caution

The community wiki indicates that different equipment categories can roll from different echo pools. That matters for database work: a hat page and a backpack page should not automatically share the same possible echo lines.

When adding individual equipment pages, keep these fields separate:

  • base item stats;
  • echo count and possible echo pool;
  • gem upgrade slots;
  • acquisition source;
  • whether the page is WIP, stubbed, or fully checked.
